If condition with dependance on previous command ( $? )

Say youre writing a bash script and have an if condition in it that depends on whether or not the previous condition was "successful".

Example:

sleep 10; if (( $? )); then echo "sleep interrupted!";fi

now if you cancel the sleep command with ctrl+c the string "string interrupted!" will show.. Of course this example is not supposed to be exciting at all, but think of the possibilities! You dont necessarily have to work with true or false variables, you can just act depending on the previous command's state.

When you really try to anticipate, its very hard to understand why this killing is still going on.. First killings following the Syrian uprising started around May of 2011 [w] innocent people have been killed by random bombings, tanks, gunfire and torture increasingly since then. The casualities have reached over 7000 people so far. Still the world is watching.. Makes you think.. What is the UN going to do? Nothing! Remember during the war in Kosovo where Dutch UN forces had to surrender and gave away Bosnian civilians to the hands of serbian forces to be later slaughtered and killed in war prisons? Unarmed human beings begging UN soldiers to protect them and not to surrender and give them away? The same will happen here. The UN will stay UN-INVOLVED in this business!

American journalist Marie Colvin and French journalist Remi Ochlik have been killed during random artillery strikes in Homs Syria on 22. February 2012. I did not know this people, but even their death didn't bring up enough impact for the world to actually care..

They are going to watch until the Assad goverment is tired and out of ammo I guess. No body seems to give a fuck at the moment!

You're surfing the web for some porn, minding your own buisness, just picking out picture-sets of women you like and it turns out that half of those galleries have been redirected to other pages.. Damn!

Google Calendar sync is working again with Mail for Exchange with the Nokia E5!
Was so sick of the stupid bug that took so long to get fixed (thats right, the invalid key thing)..

Anyways, update your nokia firmware/telephone software and see it for yourself!

Sometimes I wonder if I'm getting old. Despite that I'm currently under 30..

• I dont have a Facebook account
• I dont like new music
• I dont like any popular music
• I dont like young people! (theyre loud and way too full of joy!)
• I dont have a touchphone. I need keys to press on!
• I dont like any APPLE products! (iphone, itab, ipod, imac ...)
• I dont like new movies
• I hate twitter!
• I like to shave with real shaving blades and foam (not that 3mach, 4mach shit!)
• I like mature woman
• I like silent and peaceful enviroments
• I miss those days when movies and music was ART!

I once filled out some kind of quiz. It was suppozed to guess my age, depending on what I like and dislike.. The result was, that I must be 53!

I guess it's true! I'm getting old!
