Webmin Login fail: How to change the Webmin Password

This seems to be a very common problem after installing Webmin. Finding a solution for this on the web was very easy, but i tought i'll just post the thing that worked for me..

The Script changepass.pl can be found in /usr/share/webmin which was generated to allow the user to change the webmin pass. You'll just have to run:

sudo /usr/share/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin username password


/etc/webmin should be your webmin configuration directory. The configuration directory is the one where among other stuff the file miniserv.conf is stored.Type in at username and password your new login data and that should solve your problem. No restart was necessary for me after that.

Note: If you installed webmin using dpkg, youll find changepass.pl in /usr/libexec/webmin

Problem: GOM Player wont play DTS audio through SPDIF

Problem: Gom player hangs up/doesnt make a correct audio pass trough if you choose a DTS audio stream

Solution1: There seems to be a problem with the DTS Passtrough if you select SPDIF in the audio-preferences. If you want to play DTS sound, youll have to choose stereo output. For some reason DTS passtrough works on this setting. For AC3 Sound youll have to set it up to SPDIF again.

Solution2: Download and install AC3 Filter (LINK). Open "AC3 filter config":

Set the parameters as seen above and restart GOM player..

Ps: After so many hits on this post, I have to say that I'm not an expert on this case. Just sharing what worked for me. Didnt work out for you? Have another idea? Feel free to comment please!

Problem: Nokia Player does not start/refresh the Music Library/Cant select song as ringtone

Problem: The Nokia Player opens up, but you cant see any symbols and cant refresh the music library. OR You cant select a song as a ring or alarm tone.
Solution:
Deleting the created music library actually seems to be the solution for various problems. Here is how you do it:

1. The File System Structure may be damaged (which was the cause in my case) and you'll have to run scandisk (Error-checking) on your flash drive your music is in. After that, try running the player again.
2. Go into the folder /Private (its a hidden folder in the root of the flash drive) and you will see several directories like "101f8857", "20001f63".. in it. Find the one that has a directory named "Cache" in it and delete the folder.. This will delete the music library the player has created before and the nokia player should be able to refresh after that.
