The "Minimize to Tray" addon for Thunderbird didnt support a "Minimize at startup" option (minimizing right after execution) so i found this:

Making a Startup Application minimize after opening.

To make an application start up when Windows is launched, you simply drag its shortcut into the StartUp menu. If you want this application to minimize as its opened so that you don't have to minimize it later you can simply tell Windows to start the program minimized.

If you already have the program in your StartUp menu all you have to do is change its Properties. To get to the shortcut:

  • Right Click the Start button.
  • Click on "Explorer"
  • Double-click on "Programs" (right side).
  • Double-click StartUp, and there are the shortcuts.
  • Now, you simply right-click the shortcut and select Properties.
  • Click the Shortcut tab.
  • In the Run box select Minimized and click Apply.

The program will open up minimized upon starting Windows from now on.

SPDIF output & Volume Control through Keyboard

If youre using the Digital Output (SPDIF / Optical) Connection of your Sound Card you may experience that the Volume Keys on your Keyboard dont work. Its because they (mostly) only control the "volume bar" in the mixer instead of the "Master bar"..

There is a tiny tool Called "Volume Tracker" which tracks the Wave Bar and puts the Master bar on the same level, so you can still use your volume keys on the keyboard :)

GTA IV Drunk Cam Fix

If you have a cracked version of GTA IV, you may have that problem where the camera starts playin "drunk mode" after 1-2 minutes. Well, here's a solution which worked for me:

1. Enter in the folder with the game
2. Right-clicking on the file properties LaunchGTAIV.exe
3. Enter in the compatibility tab
4. Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
5. Choose Windows 2000
6. Play :)
