Mail for Exchange fixed with the new Nokia Update !

Today I'm mr. Happy!
Google Calendar sync is working again with Mail for Exchange with the Nokia E5!
Was so sick of the stupid bug that took so long to get fixed (thats right, the invalid key thing)..

Anyways, update your nokia firmware/telephone software and see it for yourself!

Am I getting old?

Sometimes I wonder if I'm getting old. Despite that I'm currently under 30..

• I dont have a Facebook account
• I dont like new music
• I dont like any popular music
• I dont like young people! (theyre loud and way too full of joy!)
• I dont have a touchphone. I need keys to press on!
• I dont like any APPLE products! (iphone, itab, ipod, imac ...)
• I dont like new movies
• I hate twitter!
• I like to shave with real shaving blades and foam (not that 3mach, 4mach shit!)
• I like mature woman
• I like silent and peaceful enviroments
• I miss those days when movies and music was ART!

I once filled out some kind of quiz. It was suppozed to guess my age, depending on what I like and dislike.. The result was, that I must be 53!

I guess it's true! I'm getting old!

benim de bircok kisi gibi son günlerde Fevziye Cengiz'in darp görüntülerinin haber sayfalarina tasinmasiyla haberim oldu bu olaydan. Isin üzücü ve ayni zamanda korkutucu yani, bu olaydan sadece bir video kamerasi sayesinde haberimizin olmasi. Izmir gibi "medeni" bir ilin karakolunda bunlar yasaniyorsa, insanlari korumak ve düzen saglamakla yükümlü polislerimizin kapali kapilar ve kameralar arkasinda ne tür iskence ve siddete basvurdugunu düsünmek istemiyorum bile!

Hala rütbe ve üniformayla gezen, insanliktan ve sevkatten nasibini alamamis o canilerin "hakaret ve yaralama" gerekcesiyle sikayetci olmasi yüzsüzlüktür!
Kadina siddetin ülkemizde alarm verdigi, AMNESTY insan haklari dernegine göre kadina siddetin son 10 yilda 7 kat arttigi bu dönemde polislerimizin dahi bunlari yapmasi son derece korkunctur!
Emniyet müdürlügünüzün bu konuda hala susmasi ve izlenen görüntülere ragmen meseleyi mesrulastirmaya calismasi utanc verici!

Unutmayin ki, can güvenligi tehlikede oldugunda, insanlar polislere siginiyorlar.

Using DSH (a very simple Linux example)

DSH is a handy tool to connect to multiple computers simultaneously to perform tasks. Not being able to find a most simple example on this issue, drove me fucking nuts.. So, here it is:


Goal: I have saved the IP addresses of some computers into a file. Execute the command "cat /etc/hostname" on every computer that is listed in this file.

 Content of a file called "targets":

192.168.1.122
192.168.1.123
192.168.1.124
192.168.1.125

Command:

dsh -f ./targets -c -- "cat /etc/hostname"

Output:

192.168.1.122: alpha
192.168.1.123: delta
192.168.1.124: sierra
192.168.1.125: client

• "Issiz Adam" filminde, ciftler birbiriyle vakit gecirirken arka planda dialoglari caliyor. O dialoglardan biraz serpistiriyoruz.
• Leonardo di Caprio "Aviator" filminin sonunda kafayi yiyor, günlerce bir odada kapali kaliyor, duvarlara abuk subuk notlar, ipler falan asiyor. Ondan da biraz ekliyoruz.
• Audrey Tautou'nun oynadigi "Amelie" adinda dahiane bir film var. Özellikle sahnelerdeki düzenlemeler ve isiklandirma teknikleri sayesinde her yerin sicacik bir sirinligi vardir.. Kulak memesi kivamina gelinceye kadar ekliyoruz.
• Yesilcamin bircok filminde bulabileceginiz "O benim babamdi" türünden eski mi eski bir "süpriz" ile recelimizi süslüyoruz.
• Recelinizi mutlaka hic bir sekilde inandirici olmayan karekterler ve yersiz kin, mutluluk ve üzüntülerle servis ediniz. Alabildigince bayat klişe ile birlikte yenmesini tavsiye ederiz.

Uploading and Downloading Files and Folders using SCP (Linux)

I happily just discovered that you can do both with the same command..

DOWNLOAD
Situation:
You want to download the file blue.txt which is located in the directory /blue at PC2 with the IP 192.168.1.100 to your root directory.
Command:
scp root@192.168.1.100:/blue/blue.txt /root

UPLOAD
Situation:
You want to send the file blue.txt from your PC to the root folder of another PC with the IP 192.168.1.100
Command:
scp blue.txt root@192.168.100:/root/


*its scp -r ... for directories.

Grep something EXCEPT something (Linux shell)

I dont like my cereal with raisins but i do want milk, oat and all the other stuff in it. So:

cat raisins | grep milk | grep fruit | grep oat | grep -v "raisins"

*Thats right.. Fuck raisins!

Webmin Login fail: How to change the Webmin Password

This seems to be a very common problem after installing Webmin. Finding a solution for this on the web was very easy, but i tought i'll just post the thing that worked for me..

The Script changepass.pl can be found in /usr/share/webmin which was generated to allow the user to change the webmin pass. You'll just have to run:

sudo /usr/share/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin username password


/etc/webmin should be your webmin configuration directory. The configuration directory is the one where among other stuff the file miniserv.conf is stored.Type in at username and password your new login data and that should solve your problem. No restart was necessary for me after that.

Note: If you installed webmin using dpkg, youll find changepass.pl in /usr/libexec/webmin
